Delhi University Mandates Anti-Ragging Declarations for New Students and Parents 2025

Delhi University has made it mandatory for all newly admitted students and their parents/guardians to submit anti-ragging undertakings for the academic year 2025.
This move comes in line with UGC regulations aimed at curbing ragging in educational institutions and ensuring student safety.

As per the guidelines:

  • All students must fill an online anti-ragging affidavit at www.antiragging.in or www.amanmovement.org.

  • After submitting, students and their parents will receive PDF affidavits via email.

  • These PDFs must be uploaded to the DU admission portal to complete the enrollment process.

  • Failure to submit the declarations may lead to cancellation of admission.

  • Ragging is strictly prohibited on campus and is a punishable offense under Indian law.

  • The university will run awareness programs and display anti-ragging posters in departments and hostels.

  • A helpline and dedicated anti-ragging committee have been established for quick response.
